A real message. A clearer picture.
Test the email you actually send, through the service you actually use. MXValidation examines that delivery and turns the evidence into practical next steps.
Get your personal address
Open the home page and copy the generated test address. Guests can view up to 3 different tests per rolling 24 hours, subject to IP and tested-domain allowances. A verified free account allows 20 new reports per 24 hours. The address is valid for 24 hours.
Send a representative email
Use your newsletter platform, application, or normal mail client. Include your real template, links and signature. Sending through a different service tests that service’s configuration instead.
Open your report
Click “Check Your Score” on the home page. You can open the report before the email arrives; it waits for the message and updates as the independent checks finish.
Fix, then test again
Expand each check for the finding, explanation and suggested next step. After changing your sender settings or template, generate a fresh address and send a new message.
What happens behind the report?
Our SMTP server receives the message and records the sending IP and delivery details. The analyzers evaluate authentication, DNS, content, structure, links and the observed TLS session. Results appear as they become available; a missing or unavailable result is shown as Unknown rather than assumed to pass.
The score combines ten checks with fixed weights. It describes this test delivery, not the chance that every recipient will see the email in their inbox. Explore the checks or read the scoring formula.
Keep the report link private
Each test address accepts one analysis. Sending another message to it does not replace the original report. Anonymous reports remain accessible for 14 days after receipt, subject to viewing allowances. Account-owned results are retained until you delete them and are accessible only to the owner. Keep anonymous report links private.
You can inspect HTML with external images blocked, plain text, and the original source. External images load only when you explicitly choose to load them. Avoid sending passwords or other sensitive information in test messages.
